Redeemer Celtic Football Club was founded in 1971. Our ground is Noel Gorman Park and is located in Ashling Park. Our club colours are maroon and blue, the colours are based on the school uniform of Redeemer National School.
The club aim is to have teams from 6 years of age right up to senior level. The underage teams play in the Dundalk School Boys League, at present there is 7 age groups competing in this league, u-10's, u-11's, u-12's, u-13s and u-14's,u-15s u-16s The senior set up consists of 2 teams and they both compete in the Dundalk Summer League also a senior North East Football league team.The club has grown to be one of the biggest clubs in North Dundalk.
Recent improvements on our home ground (Noel Gorman Park) includes a brand new dressing room complete with heated shower facilities, toilets, wash facilities and seated areas. The dressing rooms also include a disable toilet and disabled shower facility.the club has also added a storage container, and soon to be added ball netting system and lighting to move the club forward.
The club also ran's a number of summer camps, along with the Redeemer Celtic summer league for young club members.
All of our managers are child protection certified. A high number of the clubs managers are also trained in FAI courses (Kickstart 1, Kickstart 2, Strength and Conditioning, Small Sided Games, 4 v 4, 7 v 7, First Aid). Some of our managers are also qualified FAI referees. A number of our managers are in the process of training for the FAI youth coaching Cert.
Redeemer Celtic also has a strong female presence on it's committee, so young female players of the club don't feel they are in a male dominated environment.
